Obituary of Billy Roberts

Billy Roberts 75 years of age, passed away on Friday, October 8, 2022 at his home in Auburndale. Born in Lakeland, Billy was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a Long Distance Truck Driver (Truck #926) for Clay Hyder Trucking in Auburndale and was a                           Marine Corp Veteran of the Vietnam War.

Billy was a Avid Bucs Fan, he enjoyed fishing, reading, taking walks and spending time with his grand-children. A loving father, grandfather, brother and friend he will be dearly missed.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents William and Ruby Roberts. Loving wife of 48 years Lucille Miller Roberts, Brother Alan Larry Roberts and his favorite cousin James Jones.

Billy is survived by one son William "Dallas" Roberts Jr., one daughter Beverly Ann Franklin, one brother Gary Roberts, five grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. 

A visitation will be held Friday, October 14th from 6-8pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven and Funeral Services will follow on Saturday, October 15th at 3pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society, Alzheimer's Association or the National Autism Association in memory of Billy.
