Obituary of Charlene H. Price

Charlene “Chucky” Price of Davenport, Florida passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. She was 94 years old.

She was born on Friday, August 31, 1928, in Oak Park, Illinois to Charles and Martha Hilberg Heidersbach. When Mr. and Mrs. Heidersbach came to America they opened and operated a meat market in Oak Park, and Charlene would work with her parents through her college years, it was in fact here that she met her future husband. After college she took some time and traveled the world, which she enjoyed immensely, she enjoyed collecting currency and coins as she travelled, as well as match books and memorabilia which she treasured for life. Charlene and Tesro were wed in December of 1960 and started their family. They would go on to open a family restaurant in Chicago, Illinois and in 1979 moved to Hattiesburg, Mississippi and opened the family limousine business. Charlene was always there with her husband, quietly running the business from home. In 1988 they moved their family and business to central Florida and after retiring they came to settle in Davenport, Florida. Charlene was a social person who loved to talk to people, so in her later years she would take part time jobs, like at the convention Center, just to get out and interact with people.

She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Martha and her husband, Tesro Price, Sr. Charlene is survived by her son, Tesro “Ted” Price, Jr. and his wife, Elizabeth and grandsons, Jonathan T. Price and Joseph D. Price.
