Obituary of Cheryl E. Ferguson

Cheryl E. Ferguson, 63, was a lifelong Polk County resident until she passed away January 12, 2023. She was born October 4, 1959 in Tampa, FL. She was a very hard worker, her last place of employment was Homes of Merit in Bartow, FL as a final finish worker. Cheryl was of the Baptist faith and had recently been saved and baptized.
Cheryl was an avid outdoors woman who loved airboating and frog gigging and fishing like no other. She enjoyed going to the beach and collecting shells. She also loved to shop especially at thrift stores, anything for a bargain. She also loved to gamble.

Cheryl is preceded in death by her Father, Edward Kriston. Cheryl leaves behind to cherish her memory, her mother, Carol Talarico of Haines City, FL; a daughter, Tracie Ferguson of O’Brien, FL; a son Christopher Ferguson of Lake Wales, FL; half sister, Penny Taylor of Lake Wales, FL; a half brother, Bruce Nickless of Lake Wales, FL; as well as 3 grandchildren, Cashton Ferguson, Caibree Ferguson and Alexis Glover. She truly will be missed by everyone near and far. 

A celebration of life will be on Friday, January 27th, 2023 at 6:00 pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, FL. The family will be receiving family and friends at 5 pm.
