Obituary of William Joseph De Souza

William Joseph de Souza Born in Maringa, Brazil 11/30/1998 – 03/22/2023

William our dear departed Son was the heart and Soul of our family he touched everyone he came into contact not one person that interacted with him had a bad word to say he loved and respected everyone.

Let’s start with Williams Biological and blended Family.

His Biological Father was Wesley Barbosa and his Step Brother was Guilherme

But he was raised by John Picciano and E. Luiza De Souza – Picciano

His Brother is Wesley De Souza who is an Active duty Army Sgt. And works as Medic William adored his brother and was his role model and hero he was able to spend some quality time with Wesley who just returned from South Korea after being deployed for a year.

His blended Family Was his only Sister Kristen who he had a special bond with and loved when she visited Florida Dunkin Donuts was the go-to spot for ice coffee. Not a holiday or Birthday went by without Kristen sending him a gift card,

J.J. and William had a special friendship they joked with each other all the time it was great to see and hear.

Matthew he loved Matthew and Matthew Loved him! He lived with us for a short time and they developed A great bond.

Donald and William had a special relationship from the beginning Donald just recently had a beautiful baby named Nicholas and not a day went by that he didn’t visit Donald’s IG page and send me a new picture of Nick.

Taylor was just in Florida and we went out for lunch and William had such a great time they have such a long history of friendship.

William also had 6 Nephews and Nieces from his blended family:

Carter he met him at a young age and enjoyed every moment with him

Julia was a blessing born premature we had the pleasure of baby sitting her for a few months and William was so helpful and caring towards her.

Mia well William met Mia when she was newly born in NY July 2018 we went to see her and William was impressed with her he held and kissed and thought she was so beautiful.

Nico wow what a character he visited with us in June 2022 and William loved it they hung out at the pool and William had a great time and so did Nico,

Nicholas we didn’t have the pleasure of meeting him yet he was born on September 10th 2022 but William loved all his pictures and thought he was so so cute.

Olivia well she was just born on March 13th 2023 William loved her first Pictures and did miss one chance to make an endearing comment about her wow she’s Gorgeous and she certainly is.

In Brazil he leaves behind his Grandmother Rute his Aunt”s Chris and Regina who recently visited the U.S. in December and they had a great time reconnecting after almost 20 years of not seeing each other. He also had an Uncle Milton who spoke to him on certain occasions.

From his fathers side in Brazil he has a Grandmother and Grandfather also two uncles William and Welber and his Aunt Mara, Aunt Isabelle and he had a nice relationship with both uncles and his Aunt’s

William had Autism but you would never know it he was so much into having a normal life did he have symptoms Yes but he made no excuses and pushed on to lead a normal life.

William was also an avid Artist he painted some of the most beautiful oil paintings one which you will see in the Chapel on April 3rd

School he loved School his teachers and most of his classmates he loved to learn and was extremely smart.

He also loved to cook especially in the morning you never know what was on his menu but you could bet an Egg was in the ingredients he will always be known as Chef Bill who loved to eat healthy.

He was always clean and neat well dressed all the time loved to dress up and look sharp as well.

TV: He loved History he loved watching the History channel and Ariel America plus the ID channel but most of all the Amazing facts Channel with Pastor Doug, Luccas, Carlos, Bradshaw and every Friday night at 7 PM Pastor Boostra.

Sports: Love to watch them MLS, NFL and the New York Yankees plus he loved to Swim, Walk, Run, Dance and Box.

William was part of a Great group of old men from Queens, NY he Loved the members Danny (RIP), PJ, JP, and Papa.

Music The Doors, Johnny Cash, The Beatles< Snoop Dogg and Dr, Dre to name a few.

Holidays All of them he loved to party:

Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, 4th of July, Memorial Day etc.

His Favorite Video Game was GTA San Andres he loved to play it.

His regular shows on TV were: Tubi Faith, Moments of peace, Nature, ID the Discovery Channel, Bosch, The Sopranos, The Wire, Blue Bloods.

He Loved to Travel you said we are taking a trip and he had his Suit case ready to go his favorite hotel was the Breakers in Palm Beach, Fl The King of the Rich and Famous.

He was a Joyful, kind hearted Soul super fun to be around great companion, great personality, Handsome.

Best Son a Mother could have ask for.

His Papa was his best friend

But his Mother did everything for him and with him she loved him to no end the bond they had as Mother and son was unbreakable and William felt and acted the same way it was something you just had to experience to understand!

He loved Jesus and Followed him devoutly.
