Obituary of Eleanor G. Beasley

Eleanor G. Beasley of Davenport, Florida passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was 75 years old.  

She was born on Sunday, February 8, 1948, to Joe B. and Alice Fowler Glass in Early County, Georgia.  In 1951, at age 3, she moved with her family to Davenport from Blakely, Georgia. Eleanor worked for the Walmart Super Center in Haines City, Florida as a door greeter for 18 years and retired so she could spend more time with her first great grandchild. She was a member of Church of Christ in Haines City and enjoyed dancing, trips to Alabama, putting puzzles together and going antiquing, where she could spend hours shopping for hidden treasures.  Eleanor’s true love was her family, and she will forever be remembered by those that knew her as a loving wife, mother, granny, GiGi, aunt, sister and friend.    

She was predeceased in death by her parents, Joe and Alice Glass; brother, Joe Glass, Jr. and sisters, Ruth Manning, Reba Fitzgerald and Betty Decker.  Eleanor is survived by her husband, of 52 years, Royce “Pip” Beasley; daughters, Angela Bollinger (Luke) of Dunedin, Florida, Patsy Mincey (Bradford) of Haines City, Florida, Ramona Tiner (Jason) of Davenport, Florida; brother, Bud Glass (Lori) of Shelby, Ohio; second mom to Linda Roberts, Lisa Fellows, Karen White; grandchildren, Tiffani, Alexander, Drew, Tori, Grayden, Nicholas as well as great grandchildren, Kadyn, Jordan, Ollie, Zoey, Ari, Bodhi, Julian, Zaine and Eli.  

A visitation will be held Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM followed by an 11:00 AM service at Church of Christ in Haines City, Florida. The interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.

In Lieu of Flowers, the family requests donations be made to Cornerstone Hospice.
