Obituary of Felicidad Torres-Gomez

Felicidad Amor Torres Gomez passed away in Winter Haven, Florida on June 27, 2023 at the age of 83. Fifi, the name by which most knew her, was born in Havana, Cuba on January 30, 1940. She immigrated to the United States in 1964, escaping Castro’s communist take over of her homeland. She had a full and adventurous life, living in Central and South America for many years, sharing her faith and making many friends. She was an artist, and enjoyed painting, flower arranging, and decorating.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hugo Torres Gomez. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Adriana and Matthew Stanley; her son and daughter-in-law, Hugo and Sabrina Torres Gomez; her two granddaughters, Sarah Blankenship and Hannah Hall and their husbands; and five great grandsons.
