Obituary of Dale McDonald

Dale McDonald, 73, of Auburndale, Florida passed away on November 18, 2023. Born in Wilmington, Illinois, he moved to Florida 60 years ago calling it home.  

Dale played basketball in high school, he loved being on the water and skiing, he even taught the family how to ski, some of them were skiing right there before they could even walk. He enjoyed fishing. Dale was a very good handy man, fixing anything presented to him especially someone's shoes. He was a jack of all trades but a master of none. 

Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Ervin and Marilyn McDonald; sister, Judy Brown. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Jill; daughter, Jenny (Christopher) Douglas; brother, Dean McDonald; sisters, Joyce (Charles) Sumrell, Shelvie Hoestler; grandchildren, Riley McDonald, Braylon Odom, Kinsley Douglas. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
