Obituary of Mary M. Walker

Mary M. Walker, 82, a lifelong resident of Haines City, FL, peacefully passed away on December 7, 2023, at her daughter's home surrounded by her loved ones. Born on August 18, 1941, in Fayette, PA, to Robert Lee and Ethel Virginia Campbell Davidson. Mary dedicated over 30 years of her life to working as a waitress, retiring in 2002, after which she embraced the role of a homemaker. A woman of faith, Mary held strong to her Baptist beliefs throughout her life.

Mary had a passion for thrift shopping, antiquing, baking, and cooking. Her adventurous spirit led her to travel, creating cherished memories along the way. Mary had a deep love for animals, and her compassion extended to all creatures great and small. Among her greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren, creating lasting bonds filled with love and laughter. Those who knew Mary remember her as a vibrant and giving mother, always in a good mood, and radiating positivity. Her bubbly personality left a lasting impact on everyone she encountered.

She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Ethel; her loving husband, Stanley Walker; and son, Jeffrey Fowler. Mary leaves behind to cherished her memory her sons, James Hanks of Zephyrhills, FL, John Paul Conrad and wife, Lottie of Lake Hamilton, FL, and David Conrad of Winter Haven, FL; daughters, Cheryl McClellan and husband, Harlan of Zephyrhills, FL and Debra Anderson and husband, John of Auburndale, FL; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and twenty great great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at 10:00 am followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, FL. Final resting place will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Davenport, FL.
