Obituary of Reva J. Leavitt

Reva Leavitt, a long-time resident of Winter Haven, Florida, peacefully passed away on January 18, 2024, with her beloved family by her side. She was born in Seymour, Indiana on January 16, 1954, and her family moved to Polk County over six decades ago. Reva graduated from Haines City High School where she enjoyed being a cheerleader.  In 1972, Reva married Leo Leavitt, and they made their home in Winter Haven. They had three children: Jason, Leighann, and Jamie.

Reva is remembered for her beautiful smile and her love for life. She found happiness in cooking delicious meals, going to the beach, attending concerts, watching her daughters' softball games, and doting on her cherished grandchildren. Her infectious spirit will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew her.

Reva is preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Marjorie; infant son, Jason Leavitt; and former husband, Leo Leavitt. She leaves behind her loving daughters, Leighann Asbury (Derek) Bringger, and Jamie (John) Russian; her sisters, Caroline Hudson and Ruth (James) Giddens; her adoring grandchildren, Cody Sadler, Alexyss Wilson, Makenzy Ingram, Khia Russian; and great-grandchild, Alanie Campbell. Her memories will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Best Regards,
