Obituary of Florence Raburn Butler

Florence K. Butler, 93, of Winter Haven, FL went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 6, 2024, at her residence with her family by her side.

Born January 29, 1931, in Plant City, FL she has been a resident of Polk County for most of her life.

She was a member of Garden Grove Church in Winter Haven and worked at the Orange Ring in Haines City as the manager of the Gift Shop and Packaging. God and Family were the two most important things in her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Byron in 2003.

She is survived by five sons, Wayne Butler and his wife Karen of Clearwater, FL, Ray Butler and his wife Patricia of Winter Haven, FL, Terry Butler and his wife Vickie of Aiken, SC, John Butler and his wife Karen of Winter Haven and Jimmy Butler and his wife Karen of Goose Creek, SC;  a daughter, Debi Smith and her husband Steve of Julian, NC; a sister, Helen Raburn of Plant City, FL; Thirteen grandchildren; and twenty-one great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 am till 10:00am Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven.  Funeral Services will follow at 10:00am, followed by interment at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens in Auburndale.
