Obituary of Albert E. DeLorey

Albert E. DeLorey of Haines City, Florida passed away on March 22, 2024. He was 90 years old.

He was born on February 7, 1934 in Quincy, Massachusetts to Lawrence and Laura B. MacDonald DeLorey and moved to Haines City in 2000 from Massachusetts. Albert worked in law enforcement as a police officer for some 25 years before retiring in 1986, where he was working as a Capital Police Officer for the Governor's office in Massachusetts. He was of the Catholic faith and was known as a very generous man, wherever he saw a need, he was quick to make a donation. 

Albert is predeceased by his parents, Lawrence and Laura; daughter, Sharon Carpenter; brother, Ervin and sister, Sylvia. He is survived by his loving family, daughter, Dale DeLorey of Haines City, Florida; brothers, Shawn DeLorey of North Berwick, Maine and Glenn DeLorey of Whitman, Massachusetts; daughter, Colleen Priolo of Bridgewater, Massachusetts; sister, Shirley of Oak Bluffs, Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts; nineteen grandchildren; thirty seven great grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
