My grandpa made the best corn bread. He couldn't make it fast enough. He could always make us laugh, and told the best stories. This year is going to be very hard for me. I never could have imagined my wedding day without him there to have the farther daughter dance with. He will be there in spirit and I hope I can feel him there with me on that day. I loved his quick wit and when I quick witted him back while on vacation, just me grandma and grandpa,he just look at me in shock with his mouth wide open. He was at loss for words, and that never happens. Who is Pam Tillis's Dad? he askes. And I said Mr Tillis, lol. I miss you grandpa, this is not good bye, so I see later in the mansion in the sky. I love you silly old man.

One of my favorite memories was when Calvin whipped me as a child.he would whip and then he would explain why he was doing it and then ask me if I understood why he was doing it and he would whip me again but when I was older I had great love and respect for him. I also remember the times we took Auto body classes together we had so much fun we were both jokesters we had a lot of laughs love and miss you brother James wimberly

My favorite memory with my grandpa ... That's hard to decide there are so many every moment I spent with his was a favorite memory desert he and my grandma took us to cici's pizza and it was really fun. We always use to love when he took his dentchers out because he would try to talk an he sounded funny and he would act like he didn't know what we were laughing about. When I didn't feel good at school in 7th and 8th grade he always came to get me . He was so funny and loving . - lindzi Waters <3!
