What can be said, after 99 years you lived a full and blessed life. I’ll always remember our time together fondly and will miss you greatly. I will drink strawberry daiquiris and rum and cokes in your honor. My heart is breaking but I know I have gained yet another guardian angel. Love you always Grandma. Give Grandpa a kiss for me and say hello to the Queen.

It's so hard to condense all I know about Mom (Anna) into a brief space. Until now, she's been there for me my whole life. I am the youngest of the children she had. During the last years of her life, Mom lived with my husband, John and me - we were the 3 Musketeers. At 99, Mom lived in a loving home with us and John and I were with her through the end. We miss her, so much.
Anna was born into a big family and had a twin sister, Mary. She grew up with her sisters Alice, Grace, Mary and brothers Gene, Eddie & Joseph. My Dad and Mom were blessed to celebrate over 50 years of marriage and had 5 children. Mom was a homemaker and was there for me when I came home for lunch from the school around the corner. My love of old movies, comes from sharing them with Mom when I was growing up. She was always available when I wanted or needed to talk. After I grew up and got married, we had some many wonderful times together and I have so many pictures - it was hard to choose what to share. Mom would come down to visit us in Florida when we first moved here. Mom and I did a girls trip to England - she loved the history and admired Queen Elizabeth. We both moved to Central Florida in 2010 and have enjoyed visiting, shopping, watching shows, going to parks, restaurants and doing staycations.
I have a lifetime of memories with Mom. She never forgot who she was or who we were. God speed Mom. We'll meet again. Love, Jane and John
